OPITO Global 2026 – Ticket Purchase Terms & Conditions
Event Dates: 13–14 October 2026
Venue: Grand Hyatt, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
By purchasing a ticket for OPITO Global 2026, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Ticket Types & Rates
Industry Delegates
- Early Bird: $112.50
- Standard: $150.00
Training Centres
- Early Bird: $37.50
- Standard: $50.00
All prices are inclusive of Malaysia Sales and Service Tax (SST).
2. Registration & Payment
- All ticket purchases are processed securely via Stripe.
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. OPITO reserves the right to deny entry if false or misleading information is provided.
- By clicking “Buy Now”, you submit a legally binding purchase request.
- Upon successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email containing your registration summary and confirmation code. This will be followed up with your entry ticket at least one week prior to the event.
3. Communications
- By registering, you consent to receiving event‑related communications including confirmations, updates, agenda changes, logistics, and post‑event information.
- Your registration details may be used to help personalise communications relevant to your participation.
- OPITO will never sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your details are used solely for event‑related purposes.
4. Cancellation Policy
- Attendee‑Initiated Cancellations
Attendees may cancel their registration by submitting a written request to events@opitoglobal.com.
Cancellations will be considered on an individual basis by the event organiser.
Cancellations made fewer than 14 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund, however tickets can be transferred as per the transfer policy below.
Attendees who do not attend the event and do not submit a cancellation request will be considered no‑shows.
No refunds or credits will be issued for no‑shows.
- Ticket Transfers & Substitutions
Tickets and attendee names are non‑transferable unless approved in advance by OPITO.
Where permitted by OPITO:
- Requests must include the new attendee’s full name, email address, and organisation.
- OPITO may request identity verification at check‑in.
Approval is at OPITO’s sole discretion.
- Event Cancellation by OPITO
If OPITO cancels the event for any reason, attendees may request a full refund to the original payment method.
Depending on circumstances, OPITO may also offer alternative options, such as:
• transfer of the ticket to a new event date
• credit towards a future OPITO event
Any such options will be communicated directly to registered attendees.
OPITO is not responsible for any travel, accommodation, visa costs, or other personal expenses incurred by attendees in connection with the event, including in the case of cancellation, rescheduling, or changes to the event.
- Health & Safety Requirements
Attendees must comply with any local health, safety, or public‑health protocols in place at the time of the event. OPITO reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee who does not comply with these requirements.
OPITO shall not be liable for any delay, interruption, modification, or cancellation of OPITO Global 2026 resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. These may include, but are not limited to:
- acts of God or natural disasters
- fire, flood, or severe weather
- war, terrorism, or civil unrest
- government regulations or restrictions
- public health emergencies, including epidemics or pandemics
- strikes or labour disputes
- technical or power failures
In such situations, OPITO reserves the right to reschedule, modify, or cancel the event. Registered participants will be notified and may be offered options such as:
- transfer of ticket to a new event date
- credit for a future OPITO event
- refund (at OPITO’s discretion)
8. Filming & Photography
- OPITO may film, photograph, or record sessions and activities during the event. By attending, you provide implied consent for your image or likeness to be used in event‑related media and promotional materials.
- Unauthorised video recording of sessions or speakers is strictly prohibited.
- Attendees may take personal photographs, provided they do not disrupt proceedings. Commercial use requires written permission from OPITO.
9. Data Protection
- OPITO complies with the Malaysia Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
- Your personal data will be used solely for:
- event registration and administration
- essential event communications
- operational and safety requirements
- Your details will not be shared with third parties for marketing unless explicit consent is provided.
10. Liability
- OPITO is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, damage, or theft of property incurred while attending the event, except where required by applicable law.
- Attendees are responsible for their own safety, belongings, and insurance coverage.
