Deputy Director, Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM)
Ahmad Haniff Jamaludin is currently the Deputy Director in the Financial Inclusion Department, Bank Negara Malaysia (the Central Bank of Malaysia), overseeing the development of policies and strategies on access to financing and financial education/advisory for MSMEs/strategic sectors. He holds a Master of International Economics and Finance degree from the University of Queensland, Australia; a BSc in Finance and Accounting from the University of Salford, UK; and a Certificate in Islamic Banking and Finance Law, International Islamic University, Malaysia. He has extensive experience in financial inclusion and SME financing areas, and the regulation of banking institutions and Development Financial Institutions in Malaysia. Since 2023, Ahmad Haniff also co-chairs the SME Focus Group under the Joint Committee on Climate Change (JC3).
Senior Principal Assistant Director, Ministry of Investment, Trade & Industry, Malaysia (MITI)
Dr Wong Wai Khuen is a senior officer in the Malaysian Administrative and Diplomatic (PTD) Service Corps, a premier institution responsible for shaping Malaysia’s national policies and managing its administrative and diplomatic affairs. With two decades of service, he has developed deep expertise in navigating complex societal challenges, including healthcare, climate change, human rights, labour, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
At present, Dr Wong serves in the Industry ESG Division of the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), where he spearheads initiatives to embed ESG practices across Malaysia’s manufacturing sector. His portfolio covers industrial decarbonisation initiatives, carbon pricing mechanisms, greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory enhancement, and response measure to global climate and trade policies - critical areas that underpin Malaysia’s transition towards a net-zero future.
Beyond government service, Dr Wong collaborates actively with leading academics and international think tanks. He has co-authored ESG-related research and worked with the Value Research Center in Kyoto to develop an innovative corporate ESG measurement methodology. This work complements the Value Model—a framework formalised by Doshisha University to help organisations measure and manage stakeholder value through structured, objective ESG and sustainability indicators.

Mr. Leong See Meng ("See Meng") has extensive experience in banking and fiduciary management of financial institutions. He is currently the Director – Origination & Listings at Bursa Malaysia Berhad.
See Meng is an accountant by training and banker by profession. He read Accounting at RMIT University, Melbourne and graduated with distinction in 1992 after which he completed the CPA programme with CPA Australia. in 2024, he was accorded the Certified Expert in Sustainable Finance accreditation by The Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
He started in 1993 with Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation and has since worked for leading financial institutions including Citibank and Deutsche Bank. He was also the Chief Executive Officer at National Bank of Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Bursa Malaysia Berhad, he was the Chief Business Officer at Cagamas Berhad.
His career has brought him a wealth of knowledge and experience in corporate finance, fixed income, securitization, and sustainable finance. Apart from his current remit, his passion now focusses on the sustainability space where he actively looks into new opportunities, in particular, in the green sector to bring companies and products into the capital markets.

Azizi Mustafa is an engineer by qualification with over 30 years of experience across multiple industries and disciplines. He earned his degree in Electrical Engineering from Seattle University, USA, and began his career with Petronas.

Edey has advised organisations from various sectors on embedding sustainability into core business functions. Additionally, he was also the Founding Chairperson of Johor Collective Media (JOCOM) and is the current Chairperson of the Social Hero Foundation, an umbrella organization uniting over 110 NGOs and NGIs to drive impactful environmental and social initiatives. Syed Kamal Muzaffa is the Director of the Sustainability Division at the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), where he leads national efforts to embed ESG principles across industries. Azmir started his career in CIMB under “The Complete Banker” management trainee programme in 2009. Currently, he is the Regional Head of Sustainable Finance, Group Commercial and Transaction Banking. Prior to that, he had a diverse exposure of more than a decade with CIMB Corporate Banking, CIMB Private Banking as well as CIMB Islamic.

Chan is an engineer with over 25 years of experience in renewable energy, greenhouse gas mitigation, and project development. President, Malaysian Association of Energy Service Companies (MAESCO)
Ar. Zulkifli Zahari is the President of Malaysia Association of Energy Service Companies (MAESCO) a post he has held since 2008. By profession, Zulkifli is an Architect. He is also a registered Green Building Facilitator and a Registered Electrical Energy Manager with Energy Commission of Malaysia.
Between 2000 – 2007, he was the Project Director for the Malaysian Industrial Energy Efficiency Improvement Project (MIEEIP) conducted by the Malaysian Government in collaboration with UNDP and GeF, and was appointed as a member of the National Steering Committee of The Building Sector Energy Efficiency Project (BSEEP) in 2011 – 2016 as well as the drafting of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act which is being enacted in 2024.
He has over the years developed MAESCO as the main training provider for certified Energy Efficiency related courses including Energy Management, Energy Auditor and Measurement and Verification which is recognised by the Energy Commission.
Chief Sustainability Officer, Small Medium Enterprise Development Bank Malaysia Berhad (SME Bank)
Zakiah serves as the Chief Sustainability Officer at SME Bank, one of the leading Development Financial Institutions (DFI) in Malaysia.

Angus Salim is the Group Chief Sustainability Officer of RHB. His responsibilities include ensuring sustainability initiatives are fully integrated across all business and functional areas to align with the Group's long-term strategy and establish sustainability as a core pillar of its vision.
Prior to this, he served as the Head, Sustainable Finance, Group Wholesale Banking. In his role as Head of Sustainable Finance, Angus led a team dedicated to supporting the Group and its clients in their sustainability initiatives. Angus has been instrumental in developing and implementing business plans to grow the Group’ s sustainable financial services and focused economic sectors, demonstrating his exceptional expertise and consistently achieving outstanding results.
Angus has over 30 years of experience in financial markets, having held senior leadership positions in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and London. Director of Green Growth Division, Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporations (MGTC)
Sabihah Saleh is currently the Director of Green Growth Division at Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporations (MGTC), an agency under the purview of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES).
She is overseeing the Sustainable Consumption and Production program under MyHijau framework as well as managing the assessment of Green Investment Tax Allowance (GITA) and Green Technology Financing Scheme (GTFS) for the growth of green industry in Malaysia.
Her team also managing capacity building programs in the area of Green Technology and Sustainability that includes courses on Green Technology & Practices, Carbon literacy, Energy and Mobility. She is also overseeing the growth of Green Jobs programs through Green Job Portal and events; and successfully concluded the development of Malaysia’s Green Jobs Guideline in January 2025.

Business Development Manager, Sustainability & Climate Change, Bureau Veritas Certification (Malaysia)
Syazly Salleh is a strategic leader in ESG and climate assurance, currently driving sustainability and green certification growth at Bureau Veritas across Malaysia and the region. With over a decade of experience in carbon verification, ESG reporting, and sustainability frameworks, he plays a key role in enabling SMEs and corporates to meet international standards such as ISO 14064, ISO 14067, and VERRA.
He has advised major clients including Petronas, Maybank, and FRIM, and is actively involved in regional capacity building, regulatory engagement, and carbon market development. Syazly is also a key liaison for partnerships with MGTC, BURSA, and global sustainability platforms, positioning him at the forefront of Southeast Asia’s transition to a low-carbon economy.
Group Managing Director, Unitrade Industries Berhad
Mr. Nomis Sim Siang Leng (“Mr. Nomis Sim”) was appointed to the Board of Unitrade as Group Managing Director on 1 September 2021. He is also a member of the Risk Management and Sustainability Committee of the Group. As Group Managing Director, he is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations as well as driving the growth of our Group.
Mr. Nomis Sim holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, University of London, as well as a Master of Science in Analysis, Design & Management of Information Systems from London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London.
Upon graduation, Mr. Nomis Sim was recruited by IBM Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in April 2000 as an Information Technology (“IT”) Specialist and was involved in programming software for wafer manufacturing machines. Mr. Nomis Sim’s journey with Unitrade started in 2002 when he joined Syarikat Logam Unitrade Sdn. Bhd. (“SLU”) as a Product Development Director. In this capacity, he worked on identifying and sourcing new products to expand the Group’s product offerings. Following Unitrade’s acquisition of Ricwil (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“Ricwil”), he was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Ricwil in December 2007. He gradually took on more responsibilities in strategic planning, as well as overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations in Unitrade across all departments. In 2019, he was redesignated to Chief Executive Officer of SLU, a position he presently holds in addition to being Group Managing Director of Unitrade.

Peter CW Tan is a seasoned leader with over 31 years of experience in property management, having overseen residential, hospitality, and commercial retail developments across Peninsular and East Malaysia, with projects exceeding RM 5 billion in value,cementing his reputation as a seasoned and respected leader in the built environment.
Beyond property, Peter is a prominent figure in Malaysia’s Air-Conditioning, Mechanical Ventilation & Refrigeration (ACMV&R) industry. His involvement began in 2002 with his appointment by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) as a committee member tasked with developing the National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS) for Air-Conditioning, Building Operation Maintenance, and Fire Protection Systems. This early involvement positioned him as one of the pioneers shaping the skills and competency framework for Malaysia’s ACMV&R workforce.
He joined the Malaysian Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Association (MACRA) in 2005 and, from 2009 onwards, played a pivotal role in shaping the industry’s growth. Today, ACMV&R is recognized as the highest-value sub-sector within Malaysia’s Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) discipline.
In recognition of his leadership and foresight, Peter is acknowledged as the Founding President of MARVEX (Malaysia Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration & Ventilation Exhibition), a landmark event launched on 16 March 2022. MARVEX not only marked Malaysia’s first major physical exhibition post-Covid-19 but also firmly established itself as a flagship platform for advancing the HVAC&R industry’s innovation, sustainability, and global collaboration.
He currently serves as President of MACRA (2020–2026) and Chairman of Malaysia Council of Mechanical & Electrical Associations (MCMEA) for Session 2025–2026, continuing his mission to elevate Malaysia’s HVAC&R sector on both national and international fronts.

Madelena Mohamed is currently an Assistant Governor at Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM). As Assistant Governor, Madelena oversees the Strategy and Sustainability Sector, which includes Governor’s Office, legal, strategic communications and sustainability functions.
She has more than 30 years of experience in a broad range of financial stability issues including strategic, microprudential and macrofinancial policy formulations as well as crisis management policies for the Malaysian financial system. She currently heads capacity building and training efforts of the Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS).
Madelena holds a degree in Economics, majoring in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.

Farina is the Head of Communications at Capital Markets Malaysia (CMM), an affiliate of the Securities Commission Malaysia focused on promoting Malaysia’s capital market both locally and internationally.
With over 18 years of experience in brand management, marketing communication, and stakeholder engagement at both local and regional levels, she joined CMM in 2020. In her role, she leads brand and communication strategies in areas such as sustainable finance, private markets, digital markets, and the Islamic capital market.
Vice President - Products, Generali Insurance Malaysia Berhad
Haris Abdul Rahim is a seasoned insurance professional with over 25 years of experience spanning underwriting, business development, strategic planning, product innovation, and marketing. As Vice President of Products at Generali Insurance Malaysia, he has played a key role in creating insurance solutions that are practical, inclusive, and built around real customer needs.
His work increasingly focuses on building resilience and driving innovation insurance propositions, particularly for vulnerable and underserved segments such as SMEs. Haris has championed initiatives that integrate risk awareness into product design, including enhanced lifestyle and commercial insurance offerings that support adaptation and sustainability.
Haris combines creative thinking with fresh ideas to solve problems and create better solutions. He holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Business Management and a Bachelor’s in Management Science. He is passionate about shaping the future of insurance through meaningful customer insights and strategic execution.
Chief Sustainability Officer, United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Berhad (UOB)
Moreen is currently the Chief Sustainability Officer as well as an Executive Director at United Overseas Bank Malaysia (UOBM). She is primarily responsible for the integration of sustainability into the bank’s governance, strategy, risk management, disclosures as well as key policies. Under her leadership, the bank embraces sustainability progressively from maintaining carbon neutrality for own operational emissions, inculcating sustainable procurement practices, spearheading internal capacity building to fostering well-being amongst colleagues and communities. As Chair of UOBM’s Country Sustainability Committee, Moreen ensures that all such initiatives are pursued in a synergistic and coordinated manner across the bank.
UOB is one of the earliest banks in region that has committed to Net Zero, specifically for 6 sectors within the energy and built eco-system. As CSO, Moreen engages clients with coverage team, sharing UOB’s collective sustainability capabilities in supporting our clients to transition from co-creation of sustainable supply chain program to curation of sustainability accelerator and bespoke programs.
Apart from her leadership role at UOBM, Moreen is also currently the co-chair for the JC3 (Joint Committee on Climate Change) SME Focus Group, a collective effort amongst regulators, bankers, insurance providers and relevant ministries to raise the country’s SME awareness and adoption of ESG. Under her co-stewardship with BNM, the SFG has successfully launched the ESG Jumpstart Portal, a one-stop information portal that provides SMEs with a simple and practical ESG reference guide. The SFG with various ecosystem partners, have also conducted series of capacity building sessions for SMEs and continuously explore collaboration opportunities to ease SME’s ESG transition.
Having worked for international management consulting firms, regulator, and banks throughout her extensive career, she has amassed in-depth knowledge that cuts across sustainability, corporate planning, business strategy development and implementation, mergers and acquisitions, large scale transformational and change management projects.
Chief Executive Officer of United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Berhad (UOB)
Ms. Ng Wei Wei was appointed to the Board as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of UOB Malaysia on 1 May 2022. She is the first female to lead the Bank in its 74-year history.
A Chartered Banker with extensive regional experience at international financial institutions across Asia, Ms. Ng has led a bold transformation of UOB Malaysia, strengthening its position in regional connectivity, sustainability, and digitalisation. She actively spearheads initiatives to facilitate foreign direct investment and to advance Malaysia’s green agenda.
In 2023, Ms. Ng launched the bank’s flagship CSR initiative with SOLS Foundation, bringing solar energy to off-grid Orang Asli communities and equipping B40 youths with vocational skills in solar installation. She also established UOB Malaysia’s first Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee, fostering a more inclusive workplace culture.
Ms. Ng’s visionary leadership has received regional recognition. In 2025, she received the ASEAN Woman Banker Lifetime Achievement Award and was named one of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women in Asia. She was also honoured as CEO Champion (International Organisation category) at TalentCorp’s Life At Work Awards, recognising her commitment to inclusive and sustainable business practices, leadership that empowers people, strengthens culture, and uplifts communities beyond UOB.
Ms. Ng is a Chartered Banker of Chartered Banker Institute, United Kingdom and the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a double major in Accounting and Management from Monash University of Melbourne, Australia. She sits on the Council of The Association of Banks in Malaysia and the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers.
